Our Story

HLYSPRT Clothing Co. was created when I, Charlie Bohnenkamp, was 17 years old in the middle of my senior football season. I was balancing school, practices, games, lifting, and getting ready for graduation, and during that time I felt like God put something on my heart. It wasn’t just the idea to start a clothing brand, it felt like a calling to spread the Gospel in a way that could reach people outside of church. I’ve always loved sports, and I realized athletics could be a way to show faith, hard work, and purpose all at the same time.

As an athlete myself, I’ve learned that discipline, perseverance, and trusting God go hand in hand. I wanted to build something that represented that. What started as a simple idea during a busy season turned into something way bigger than I expected. HLYSPRT is about standing strong in your faith, working hard, and not being afraid to represent Christ in everyday life, whether that’s at school, at practice, or anywhere else. I truly believe this brand is God’s way of allowing me to share Gods message, one piece of clothing at a time.
